Do you have leads that are expiring too soon? Make sure you check the expiration settings! The default is 365 days for all leads.
What is sensitive data and why should I care?
If you are storing lead data that is confidential or private, and requires special handling, it is considered sensitive. Some examples could be financial details, social security numbers, or confidential business information.
Sensitive data needs to treated carefully due to many factors, including:
- Privacy and security concerns: mishandling or exposing sensitive data can lead to privacy breaches, identity theft, financial fraud, or other security incidents
- Compliance with GDPR and other regulatory standards
- Minimising the risk of data breaches
- Maintaining trust and ethical standards in your organisation
How to set leads to expire
Expired leads will be given the closed status 'Expired' and be subject to the deletion rules you set up in Projects.
Head to the Edit Campaign Page, and select the Dialer settings tab.
Under Leads expiration, set the number of days for each option.
- For Open Leads & Private Redials, set the number of days after the upload date that they will expire. Open Leads includes Unprocessed, Automatic Redial, and Common Redial.
- For All Open Leads, the default setting is 365 days. It is important to note that this setting will take precedence over the Open Leads and Private Redials setting. To ensure that your open leads or private redials do not expire prematurely, increase the number of days.
